Donor for a Day Headlines

With the generous support of Charlie Goldsmith Associates*, we’ve been able to expand our schools programme across Sheffield, targeting schools that wouldn’t normally be able to access this kind of educational activity.

Our Donor for a Day workshop is lively and interactive, challenging the students’ perceptions of foreign aid through debating current hot topics in the news. The students also work together to decide on how to allocate foreign aid in a fictional crisis. Continue reading

The one where Mo goes back to school!

Last week, Mo started his year-long training with the School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE Yorkshire and Humber), which provides action learning programmes to support social entrepreneurs each year to grow social and community organisations across the UK, Ireland, Australia and Canada. Back in July, we announced that Mo had won a place on the Lloyds Bank Social Entrepreneurs Programme, which is provided by the SSE and funded by Lloyds Bank and the Big Lottery Fund.
