What is SSEPS?

SSEPS stands for the South Sudan Electronic Payroll System, which captures government payroll information in South Sudan. The SSEPS captured data primarily through a Microsoft Excel tool.

Why have these modules been made?

Aid Works, through Charlie Goldsmith Associates and the Health Pooled Fund South Sudan, is supporting health sector NGOs to use the SSEPS Tool so they can work hand in hand with the government system.

We can’t always provide face-to-face training to everyone - these modules will help staff learn remotely and support experienced staff wanting to train others.

Will I get feedback?

Many of the modules have quizzes at the end if accessed online. Answers are submitted automatically and you will receive feedback from a SSEPS expert.

Where can I find the tool and training manual?

The most up-to-date documents can be found on the South Sudan Schools’ Attendance Monitoring System website, here.

How were these modules funded?

The modules have been developed through the Health Pooled Fund (HPF). For further details about the HPF please click here.

How do I give feedback?

These are pilot modules, so we are keen to get your feedback. If you have comments or ideas for further modules, please contact us using this form.
