Mo is currently in Northern Bahr el Ghazal, South Sudan, facilitating a four-day Health Management Information Systems (HMIS) Data Review. He is working with three South Sudanese facilitators to provide intensive support to government workers in the State Ministry of Health and County Health Departments. The aim of this event is to look at improving the Government’s management and use of health information. The participants are working hard to increase the quality of their health information and to learn how it can feed into their future plans. This work - made possible by the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine in partnership with the Health Information Systems Programme - is helping the South Sudanese Government to work more independently in the future.
