Register now for our free Women in Aid event!

Are you interested in humanitarian aid and international development? Have you ever wondered what issues particularly affect women giving and receiving aid? Do you want to learn more through the personal experiences of women who have worked in the aid sector?

Date: 8th March, 2016
Time: 6pm - 7.30pm
Venue: The Circle, 33 Rockingham Lane, Sheffield S1 4FW
Price: Free, but spaces are limited so please book your ticket on Eventbrite using the button below

In this varied, participatory and accessible event, you will hear from a range of women who have worked in aid. They will be sharing their personal experiences with you, and you will have a chance to explore the issues in more depth in our friendly Q&A session. And remember, you don’t have to be a woman to be interested in women’s issues! All are welcome.

Speakers will be announced here shortly!

This event is sponsored and hosted by Aid Works with the kind support of The Circle, as part of SheFest 2016. Running from March 7th - 13th, SheFest is Sheffield’s first fringe festival celebrating International Women’s Day. See www.facebook.com/SheFestSheffield/ for more details.
