Aid Works recently completed the final evaluation of GOAL’s Integrated Health project in Sierra Leone, funded by Irish Aid and the European Union. This is one of the first evaluations reviewing development-orientated activities in Sierra Leone, since the end of the Ebola crisis. The project focused on systems strengthening and community-level behaviour change, targeting improved maternal and child health. The evaluation outlined lessons and recommendations that all community-based projects could benefit from and we hope it will improve the delivery of aid in Sierra Leone.
